These are the minimal system specifications needed to install Windows 11 on a computer. You might not be able to install Windows 11 on your device if it doesn’t meet these requirements, so you might want to think about getting a new computer. If you’re not sure if your PC satisfies these requirements, you can ask the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of your computer, or if your device is already running Windows 10, you can check compatibility using the PC Health Check app. Note that the majority of compatible devices will meet the specifications listed below, so this app does not check for graphics card or display.
Windows 10, version 2004 or newer, must be installed on your device in order to upgrade. Windows Update provides no-cost updates.
